Testing Process

SG Mobile follows a rigorous testing process before preparing any device for redistribution.

  1. Evaluation and Data Wiping: Each device is thoroughly evaluated, and its data is securely erased using accredited software.
  2. Comprehensive Diagnostics: The device undergoes a detailed 25-point diagnostic check to verify that all functions are working properly.
  3. Technical Assessment: If any issues are detected during diagnostics, the device is forwarded to our technical department for further inspection.
  4. Cosmetic Grading and Final Outcome: The device is graded based on its cosmetic condition. Depending on this evaluation, the device may be repaired, have its software updated, be recycled, or be repurposed for spare parts.
  5. Diagnostic Test Requirements: We maintain a list of diagnostic tests that all devices must pass before they are distributed.
